We knew it would get ugly. From the Washington Post...
“On just about every level, this ad is misleading, unfair and untrue… Simply
repeating the same debunked claims won’t make them any more correct.”
“The debt will grow from 16 trillion to 20 trillion dollars”
“Twenty million Americans could lose their employer-based health
care.”
“Taxes on the middle class will go up by $4,000.”
“Energy prices will continue to go up”
Let's not forget to frighten the seniors!
“$716 billion in Medicare cuts that hurt current seniors”
From the Washington Post 9/7/12... This article explains the Message Grid in advertisements.
" As we put the theater of the conventions behind us and move into the
homestretch of the campaign, that simple fact — along with the omnipresence of
outside groups flush with unchecked money and unchecked facts — means we can
expect the nastiest two months of attack ads in modern American history." I'm really, really dreading all of the ads. I have not been enthused with what has been produced thus far and just want them to end but i realize they will not.
